The only day of this trip that arrives with a timetable somebody else printed. Two Studio Passes and two Express Pass 8s are already bought, and between them they fix six windows — Villain-Con, the Nintendo area, Mario Kart, Yoshi, Mine Cart, the Hippogriff — that cannot be moved, refunded or argued with. Everything else is arranged around them: Jurassic ridden on foot in the morning, and the one JAWS-or-Jurassic scan held back until after dark.

One subway ride and one JR chain, and every JR metre of it sits inside the All Area Pass — the same pass that has carried us since Hiroshima and spends its seventh and last day today. Nothing on the route takes a limited-express surcharge and nothing needs reserving. Coming home, the Halloween programme runs late: leave on the event timetable rather than gambling on the last train.
Gate at about half past seven for a half-past-eight opening, both passes already registered in the app. The first move inside is not a ride — it is the app, asking for a Resident Evil time, ideally after 19:15 and clear of every printed window. Then the Jurassic cluster while the park is still thin: Jurassic Park on ordinary standby, the Flying Dinosaur on its own untimed entitlement, and the shared JAWS-or-Jurassic scan left alone. Villain-Con is at half ten; stand there by a quarter past.
Area entry runs 12:00 to 13:00 and the three rides inside it are printed to the half hour — Mario Kart at noon, Yoshi's Adventure at half past, Mine Cart Madness at one. Ninety minutes of scanning, back to back. But the 13:00 on the entry window is when the door shuts behind us, not when we have to be out: the plan holds the land until about ten past two, for the shops and the detail. Power-Up Band key hunts stay optional — forty extra minutes will not finish one.
Out of the Nintendo land about ten past two and straight over to Hogsmeade. The Hippogriff is printed 14:50 to 15:20 and is the last fixed window of the day; the Forbidden Journey follows immediately on the untimed Express entry, which is the strongest single line on the pass. Then Three Broomsticks becomes the one proper sit-down of the day, about 15:45 to 16:25 — mobile ordering if it is offered, because the queue is the only part we cannot afford.
About twenty minutes of stunt work in an arena that seats three thousand two hundred and twenty — and the only approved must on this day that cannot be queued for. The 11 September show times had not been published when the plan was written; they go in around the fourth, and the evening is then built around the latest one that still works, not the other way round. Whichever it turns out to be, be inside the arena twenty-five to thirty minutes before it starts.
